Annual Freshman Picnic

The Freshman Picnic is a open to all Fall 2012 MSU Freshmen from our alumni region (Kent, Ottawa, and Allegan counties) and to their families. The Picnic allows the new Spartans to network with current MSU Students and representatives from student organizations on campus. Parents have an opportunity to get more information on student life, financial aid, living facilities, and student activities from Admissions Office Representatives and MSU Alumni.

The Picnic is a celebration of the student’s upcoming Green and White adventure while providing information to the students and families in an informal environment. Questions and concerns will be addressed by MSU representatives as well as other peer students and families.

There is no cost to attend the event and a BBQ, tailgate style dinner with dessert will be provided. Parents and other family members are welcome. The event will be held in an enclosed shelter, so it will be held rain or shine. Free Spartan themed gifts will be provided to the students and prizes will be raffled at the event.

We will have registration information available in spring of 2012 so check back to sign up your son or daughter.
