Steve Smith Charity Challenge

The Nation’s Premier MSU Alumni Event

The Steve Smith Charity Challenge is our club’s single largest annual event. In fact, it’s one of the largest alumni gatherings in the nation —bringing more than 400 alumni and friends together for a day of golf and unique Spartan connections.

It’s Not Just a Day of Golf!  Through our funding commitments, the MSU Club of West Michigan has proudly given back to the university and the community throughout its history. The success of the Steve Smith Charity Challenge alone has provided us the opportunity to donate nearly $500,000 to MSU sponsored programs and scholarships during the past decade.

Steve Smith Charity Challenge #13 will be held on June 27th, 2011.

This year, more than 400 MSU alumni and friends of the University joined the generous spirit of our sponsors to raise money for:

• Grand Rapids Public Schools Student Advancement Foundation
